Compact when you want it. Power when you need it.

I was provided with a free copy of this product for testing and my honest review.The Good: This product introduces an innovative concept. Unlimited solar power for your mobile device, while being portable enough to put into a purse, backpack, satchel, or any other small bag. Surprisingly, the Traveller 2 can charge a device relatively fast. On a nice, sunny day, it charged my Moto X from empty to full battery in just over an hour and ten minutes. The Traveller 2 offers a maximum output of 2 amps, in bright sunlight. This device folds and unfolds. Compact when you want it. Power when you need it! Folded, the Traveller 2 is 8.15 inches x 6.97 inches x 0.67 inches. Unfolded, the device is 24.4 inches x 8.15 x 0.12 inches. Plus, it weighs only 8.16 ounces! While folded, the Levin Logo displays itself boldly on the front fold. On the back on the folded device, you can find the netted pouch where your device goes to charge. Inside the zippered pouch is the USB port. Unfolded, you can see three solar panels. The top flap does Velcro shut, to secure the device when not in use. The Traveller 2 also has small stretchy loop holes attached around the perimeter of the device. You can use these for attaching the Traveller 2 to your backpack, a window, or even a tree! The item is fairly durable as well. As for ease of use, it can't get much easier than with the Traveller 2. Simply enfold the device, put it in the sun, plug in your device, and you're done!The Bad: Unfortunately, the Traveller 2 can not charge laptops. This would be a nice feature to see in the future. Sunlight does have to be fairly strong for this device to function. One thing that I would love to have had in this product is a built-in backup battery. The Traveller 2 would charge both the internal backup and your device at the same time. Then, if you have to go inside suddenly, or it gets overcast, your device can keep on charging, without the sun! It would also be nice if a charging cable was included with the device.Cool Features: Solar Powered, Foldable design, fast charging, light weight.In the Box: The Traveller 2 comes in a simple brown box. Inside, you can find the Traveller 2 by Levin, and the user manual.The Verdict: This is a well thought out product. Solar powered charging is a smart idea. However, that means you cannot use it where you don't have sun. Once a few things are added, this product is an Ace in the hole!

I am excited about these 10W Solar panels. Three panels, fold up nicely to be flat and very compact. But, they are powerful. I tried charging my solstice backup battery first. The green light went on and also all 4 blue lights on a bright sunny day. So they were almost full already. Then I plugged in my iPhone ... Wow... It went from 4% to 11% in just about 5 minutes!These panels are light, easy to move and set up at a good angle to the sun, especially with the nice little flexible loops at all the corners. And, it charges fast. I am new to solar, these are my second panels, and I am addicted, lol.These look nice, are sturdy with black canvas. I love the small pouch in the back, zips up (2 zip handles). In it's corner is the USB port. So it holds your device, like phone, and the connector.Suggestions would in include a slightly more detailed instruction pamphlet, the pictures are good. And some identifying facts on the product itself, like there is on the back of the little solstice battery, volts, amps, etc. Also would be nice to have 2 USB ports. It says connector included, but it wasn't in the box.It's new, so if I need to add more, as it gets more use, I will update.I am excited to get a couple of these cute but sturdy panels as gifts for friends. It is perfect to go with the Solstar backup battery.

I got this as a gift and like it alot. It works well in full sun light. I like the zipper pocket in the back for holding cords. This will be going camping with me!
