... As long as you're not near the surface. Above 10-15ft and it causes everything to wash out red (no surprise really). Easily snaps on and off, even while underwater. Clips on securely, I don't think it could ever come off by accident. It comes in a nice little bag to protect against scratches.

The clip-on design makes it really easy to put the red filter on and off even in the water, which is convenient if you are taking continuous video/pictures before and after you dive. The filter comes with a string so that you can tether it to the GoPro. The filter appears to be well made and clips on the GoPro lens frame perfectly. The filter works as expected. I compared the shots I took with and without the filter, and the filter definitely brings back lost colors.The downside with the design is that when droplets of water get into the inside part of the filter, it tends to stay there and can ruin your shots. It happens when you attach the filter to the GoPro while underwater. Although you can get rid of the droplets on the outside part of the filter, the inside part that is between the GoPro lens and filter is sealed and the droplets tend to stick. I didn't notice the problem until I uploaded the photos/videos on my computer. I believe that this can be mediated by simply checking for any droplets of water on the camera filter before recording, or by keeping the inside of the filter dry and attaching it to the GoPro before going down the water (this also implies keeping it attached while underwater).Aside from that, I feel that the price is also little too expensive.Overall, I think it is a great product and I plan to use it in subsequent dives.

I attached this right to the side of my camera housing and snapped it on easily while underwater. This was the best priced filter too- good product for the money~!
