Sturdy and Versatile

This is a great product. I used this to mount my GoPro Hero2 camera to the engine guard of my Harley Davidson RoadGlide, and it works extremely well.I used it for the first time two weeks ago on a 600 mile round trip from Phoenix to Las Vegas and Laughlin, and it performed just as I had hoped it would.The mount enables me to change the angle of the camera in infinite variations depending on what I want to take pictures of, and it's sturdy and solid enough to hold the camera still at 85 mph on less than perfectly smooth roads. All of the pictures taken from the camera in this mount came out great!I would recommend this to any motorsports enthusiast who wants to take pictures or video and needs a mount that will adapt to different diameters and bar locations.

Sturdy little item, stands up to launches in my racecar and does not move. I would definetly recommend it.. I did have to use a smaller band clamp of my own to tighten down on the rollbar I chose.

Tedious handlebar mount requires a wrench.

Positives: Very solid once mounted and has the build quality I expect from Ram Mounts. Negatives: There is no manual, so I don't know how some of the mounting pieces are supposed to fit together. The U bolt that mounts to a handlebar requires a box wrench to tighten the nuts, and the GoPro adapter requires a screwdriver. I have to carry two extra tools around with me to adjust the mount. This makes moving the mount around my motorcycle very tedious to get different camera angles for my GoPro. I wish they could figure out a way to use thumb screws like the rest of the Ram Mount.
