I ordered these because my other one broke. These mounts work just as they should. I would recommend these as a very compatible accessory.

They are knockoffs, buyer beware.

You get what you pay for. In this case you get knockoff quick release mounts. They seem to be fairly ruggedly constructed out of the same material as a genuine unit, except they have some excess flash around the mold lines not present in the real thing. That means extra little burrs and sharp edges not present on a real one. Not really hazardous, but you might prick yourself or give yourself a little papercut-like slice if you're not mindful.They fit well enough when clipped into a GoPro adhesive pad or base. The locking buckle stays relatively securely without any slop, so that much is good.However the other end, the part where you slide the GoPro arms/stems (whatever you want to call them) is made too loosely. On a genuine GoPro buckle, there is enough pressure where the pieces generally stay in place even if you don't tighten down with a screw, allowing for adjustment without screw tension. On these knockoffs, there will be no holding position without a significant amount of screw tightening. They will only stay in place once you've tightened the screw down enough, which will put excess pressure on the pieces. In other words, the tolerances where it counts are too loose.Out of the two packages I purchased (four total buckles) one of the buckles was slightly warped, enough so that the metal nut that is supposed to stay attached to the buckle can't stay on. Also the screw hole itself is elongated. To me it looks like the buckle had been de-molded too quickly after forming, thus causing the unit to get misshapen. It demonstrates poor quality control.I will be throwing my knockoffs away. I don't even want to hassle with trying to return them. They may be decent enough for light duty.use but it's clear that they are not made to high enough standards. The only pieces worth keeping are the little shiny nuts that appear to be identical to the ones on a genuine GoPro. But I'll probably throw them out too out of general principle.

I have purchased these clips after my original GoPro brand clip broke. These clips will fit all hero 2 and hero 3 mounts. Quality is equal to if not better than the GoPro brand. You receive an amazing 2 clips so this is hands down a generous deal. I personally applied these clips to my GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition works like it is supposed to.
