Fail safe tether for gear (Cameras, DSLR, GoPro, Camcorder and Video). The cable is made from aircraft grade stainless steel (high resistance to the elements) with a vinyl coating to ensure maximum protection against the elements. The 24-inch cable best used for mounting to vehicles. The cable diameter is 3/64" diameter with a durable weather and UV resistant vinyl coating combined with a total outer diameter of 1/16 inch. Heavy-duty 1/32" thick heat shrink protects the union of the cable loops. The cable is design to have a higher breaking point than the GoPro plastic harness. Compatible with all versions of the GoPro (1,2,3,3+) including other DSLR, point and shoot, video camera etc.

Good Idea, But....

This same item is used as a bicycle seat locking mechanism available wherever bike accessories are available for about 1/3 less cost. Therefore, this one is somewhat overpriced.

It works!

This cable works. What more is there really to say? Is not a very complicated thing. Loop one part around the camera and the other around an object in your car for example. It keeps your camera from falling off the mount.

Exactly as described

It's a thin steel cable with loops at both ends, for securing your equipment. I got couple in different lengths to use depending on the situation. They work as advertised.
