Bad design makes you worry when you'll lose your GoPro.

Great concept, sturdy construction for the price, but it's just a matter of when, not if, you'll lose your GoPro with this pole. The nut on the camera connector isn't mounted flush with the piece they give you, so the GoPro bolt doesn't actually "catch" enough to screw in tightly. Also, the piece at the top spins, so you can't control the camera when it's out on the end. There's no way to lock this spinning in place, so unless you tape it or something, you're left with a spinning camera at the end of a pole -- not ideal

Ive used this with a GoPro hero 3 and hero 2 with a wifi bacpac. The extra weight of the hero 2 with wifi bacpac is almost to much but works fine if you tighten it all up and aren't too shaky with the stick. Absolutely perfect with the Hero 3. I've even used it underwater with great results

Don't buy if using for action sports

Yea this pole is cheap and a great price, but for a reason. The camera spins on the end allowing it to only be positioned at the bottom. When the extension is all the way in or telescoped all the way out, all of the pieces spin and allow no control of the angle of the camera. Spend the $10 extra and get one that doesn't spin.
