It will definitely do the job but I'm not super impressed by it. It doesn't clamp to the Go Pro very well. It only has a two prong system instead of the three that most mounts come with. So it will work but there might be more sturdier ones out there...

This item mounted right on the rail or my G21 Gen 4 securely and stayed on while shooting. Smatree, from my experience makes good quality cost effective products.
